I have been visiting Venice since the mid 1970s, and never once have I been disappointed by its light, its canals, it’s gondolas, vaporettos, laneways, those dazzling reflections on the water, its elegant, sometimes decadent buildings and its great spirit. All of these, I try to paint in my artworks of Venice.
